MSMS’s 2015 Winter Formal is coming up fast with the end of first semester. While research papers are being finalized and exams are being prepared for, MSMS students will also be looking for nice outfits to have a great night in on Dec. 5.

This year’s Winter Formal will be held in Hogarth Auditorium, where it was held last year. Tickets are going on sale Friday, Nov. 6. Couples tickets will cost $25, and singles will cost $15 each.

As of now, nominations for Winter Formal queen, king, princess, and prince are being considered before the big vote on the night of the dance, according to Veleria Scott, the coordinator for the event. Scott said that decorating for the event is her favorite part of the formal.

Senior Caleb Marshall enjoyed last year’s Winter Formal and plans to attend this year’s dance. He said, “I really loved the decorations. It was really cool to see all the Delta parents pull together to decorate the second room. They did an amazing job!”

Junior Tyler Hartman, who will be experiencing his first full-scale MSMS dance, said, “Oh, I’m so excited for it! I think it’s going to be great!”
