Meet New Goen RA Mallory Wooldridge

Jessikah Morton, Staff Writer

Recently there have been some new additions to the MSMS faculty and staff, specifically in Goen Hall.

Mallory Wooldridge, the new RA on 4th West, is having the time of her life as a resident here. She learned about this job through her mother, and since she’s a junior at the W majoring in Biology, it seemed like a perfect fit.

Wooldridge hails from the East Central region of Mississippi in the beautiful town of Meridian. With her sparkly smile and inviting aura she jovially agreed to do an interview with me.

Jessica Morton: “What parts of this job do you find the most enjoyable?”

Mallory Wooldridge: “I like meeting new people and I think it’s fun because there [are] so many different kinds of people here so it helps like me work with others also.”

From the beginning to the end of the interview she had a smile on her face and she was full of laughter. When asked, if she liked working here so far, she was excited to tell me so.

“… It’s actually really fun and I got to meet one of my best friends here, Sandy.” she said full of smiles.

Her face lit up instantly as we conversed about how she was getting along here in Goen Hall. She is a very spirited and light-hearted individual and she was so fun to talk to. My favorite part of the interview was when I asked what her favorite memory was here so far.

“Ooh that’s really hard probably when the fire alarm went off for an hour and a half and we just played hangman in the office.” she said laughing infectiously.

Her coworkers had plenty great things to say about her and her lovely personality.

“She is very bubbly and outgoing she’s fun to be around, a joy.” says Ms. Lexi.

“She’s great I love her energy she fills up the room and she’s hilarious… Hi-larious!” says Ms. Alisen Reed.

My challenge to you all is to get to know Ms. Mallory and witness her wonderful personality for yourselves, you won’t regret it.
