Dear MSMS,
“Dear Vision” is The Vision’s advice column, which was unfortunately abandoned by our great-great-great-grand-editors several years ago. Amidst an emerging pandemic, MSMS students were searching for advice from health professionals rather than from their fellow students. As a result, “Dear Vision” was lost to the world. However, the calendar now reads 2024, and we have finally decided to bring it back!
If you’ve ever been searching for semi-sarcastic answers to questions such as “Why is Hooper so hot,” or “How do I stop spending so much money on DoorDash,” the “Dear Vision” column is just the place for you. We ask that questions are kept relatively light, with any mental health concerns being directed toward MSMS’s counselors. Additionally, serious issues such as bullying can be submitted directly to any staff members or through MSMS’s Anonymous Reporting Tool. If you need help getting an idea of what kind of questions to ask, you can visit old installations of “Dear Vision” for inspiration.
“Dear Vision” installations will be published weekly after our editors meet to discuss the questions received. To send us a question, please use the following button:
We can’t wait to answer everyone’s questions, so be sure to send in whatever’s on your mind! Whether it’s silly or genuine, we’ll do our best to offer helpful advice where we can.
Sincerely,
The Vision
