Dear Vision #17

Dear Vision,

My eyes are becoming fried to the point that I can no longer open up my computer without them watering up. The amount of time that I have spent staring at a screen since school got out for “spring break” is incomprehensible. I have completely lost all sanity from this quarantine due to the fact that I haven’t left my house in 17 days nor socialized and seen friends since. My sleep schedule is extremely thrown off to the point where I get to experience the sun set and rise in one time period. I have lost all motivation for online school at this point because I wake up at 1 p.m. everyday. Is there any way that I can click back into the flow of school? Because working from home doesn’t seem to work.

Sincerely,

Lazy Quarantine Pal

Dear Lazy Quarantine Pal,

I understand that you feel unmotivated and think you’re starting to go insane; trust me, I’m right here with you. I think the way that you can get back into your mojo is to start waking up early! Sleeping in until 1 p.m. not only makes you feel like your whole day is wasted, but it also makes you feel unmotivated to start on your school work. Set your alarm for an earlier time, and get up when it goes off! This will give you an earlier start to your day to get things done. Another thing I recommend you do in order to keep you sane during this quarantine is to find a new hobby. Clean your room, cook a meal, or go on a walk. Find ways that prevent you from being cooped up in your house all day, and before you know it, you’ll be motivated to get back on your grind.

Sincerely,

The Vision
