The MSMS Fashion Board hosted its first dance on Friday, October 20, in Shackleford Auditorium.

The Dance featured a ‘decades’ theme for students to dress in popular styles from the past.

“It was cool seeing the different costumes people came up with, and I can’t wait for the other dances because it is a fun time to relax and get some wellness.” said MSMS senior AK Mynatt.

“I was really excited for the dance because it was our first one since the back to school dance, and it ended up being a lot of fun! Finding outfits for different decades and dressing up was awesome. Reagan did a really good job with the music and it seemed like everyone had a good time.” said MSMS Fashion Board member Keely Brewer.

“It was a little stressful because I wanted everyone to have fun, but after hearing everyone say they had a good time, I felt better. I probably wouldn’t DJ again because I like to be out there dancing and not worrying about anything. If there is no one else to DJ for the next dance I might help out again.” said dance DJ Reagan Conner.

Coach Scott of student activities will be hosting the next dance on October 31 with a Halloween theme.
