Watch

Cameron Thomas, Copy Editor

Has anyone seen my watch?

The one that only gives me the time of day

The one who’s there at times of terror

The sight of her takes all my fears away

Has anyone seen my watch?

The one that only gives me the time of day

The one who I’ve dreamed of

The one for which I pray

Has anyone seen my watch?

The one that only gives me the time of day

The most valuable possession of mine

Her golden complexion

Is obviously a blessing

She is most definitely worth my time

Please, Oh Please find my watch

It’s weird when I don’t feel her

For I know no one would steal her

They would bring her back and say,

“She is your watch and she isn’t for me

Because she only gives you the time of day.”

Hang on for a minute...we're trying to find some more stories you might like.
