On Tuesday, Oct. 10, students participating in the CRU Club, baked and provided goods to sell in a fundraiser to raise money for future CRU Club events later in the year.

“There was a lot of variety in snacks, and it was really cheap,” junior Lane Hughes said.

Students not only baked goods, but signed up to volunteer time towards selling them. Some of the goods included cookies, muffins, brownies and cupcakes.

“The bake sale was a success, and it helped raise money for more outreach programs later on in the year,” senior Daniel Smothers replied.

The CRU Club plans to have another bake sale in the spring.
