MSMS students get down on the dance floor.

MSMS students congregated in Shackleford Auditorium with one goal in mind: dancing the Oct. 1 night away. The dance provided a welcome respite (and an excellent wellness opportunity) for students trying to get away from the slowly rising amount of schoolwork. While the dance may not have had the highest attendance, the students there more than made up for it in enthusiasm.

Many students expressed their appreciation for the dance. Senior Nathan Carter said, “I had fun.” Junior Kennedy LaPorte said, “I thought the music selection was pretty good, even if it was way too loud.”

In comparing this fall dance with August’s “back to school” dance, Laporte said,“I thought it (the fall dance) was a lot more fun, plus the music was better.”

Overall, it seems as though this dance was a success amongst the student body.
