MSMS is hosting STARS in the South, a national program helping high school students in rural communities gain support and information needed to be enrolled in top universities, beginning 5 p.m. Wednesday in Shackleford Auditorium.
The event features a 45-minute information session followed by a small college fair represented by more than 20 top universities from across the U.S.
MSMS counselor Heath Stevens said the program will help every MSMS student, no matter where they are in the college application journey.
“There are benefits for both juniors and seniors. It is going to be a bit of an insight into what is down the road. You’ll get a deeper insight into [the college admissions process],” he said.
All students received registration information for the program via email.
