Grace Ann Courtney (bottom) and Yash Malhotra, both MSMS class of 2025, were recently elected lieutenant governors of Girls/Boys State.

Grace Ann Courtney and Yash Malhotra, both MSMS class of 2025, were recently elected lieutenant governors of Girls/Boys State. The American Legion Boys State and American Legion Auxiliary Girls State are summer leadership and citizenship programs for high school juniors that focus on exploring the mechanics of American government and politics.

Grace Ann prefers dogs over cats (except for her ginger cat George) and watches "Glee" unironically. She hopes to pair her interests in art and science to become a plastic surgeon specializing in pediatric facial reconstruction.
