Spring break of 2016 is going to be an exciting time for those students who decide to embark on a journey to Paris, Normandy and London. Julie  Heintz and Dawn Barham will be taking a group of students to these places to spend eight or nine days exploring. This will be their 10th year doing the trip.

“It’s just a great way to broaden your horizons”, says Heintz, the trip planner and resident history teacher. These trips, provided by EF Tours, offer amazing opportunities to students and anyone who have the money to attend. Even though there is a lot of money involved to go on an EF Tours trip, the cost is dramatically reduced from what you would normally pay for a trip to the same place. Students get to go to places that many people can only dream of traveling to, and they get to experience things that not many people ever get to experience. They get full tours of everywhere they go and time to explore areas on their own, so students really get a feel for the place they are visiting.

Students will get to see attractions like the Eiffel Tower, the beach of Normandy and Big Ben. Professional guides will give tours of all the places they visit.

“It’s a really relaxed sort of thing, so like you’ll have one tour per day and basically you’ll do what you want for the rest of the day,” says Connor McNamee, a participant of last year’s trip to Italy. This trip only comes around once a year and it is an experience that, according to past attendees, will last forever.
