In October, Tyler Perry released his newest movie “Boo 2! A Madea Halloween.” It is a family fun-filled movie combining comedy with a little horror.  A teenage girl, Tiffany,  is approaching her 18th birthday on Halloween.

One thing I didn’t like about this movie is I feel that Tyler Perry was trying a little too hard to make the film a comedy. Some parts weren’t exactly funny, but uncalled for. Another thing he tries to use as a comedy feature is the language. The characters do a lot of unnecessary cursing to try to appeal to the audience.

While on the subject of the characters, something I really despise is that most characters are played by the same person, which is Tyler Perry, the director. The acting in certain parts were kind of off. The mouths of the actors were different from what was actually coming out their mouths.

The movie could be considered kind of predictable. Towards the end I could tell the events that would happen next. Tiffany and her mother learn a lesson on responsibility. I feel that Tyler Perry does a good job in displaying this message into the film. Despite its problems, it was a movie I would definitely pay to see again.
